It is said, "A picture says a 1,000 words." Dan Youra’s volume of cartoon pictures would fill an encyclopedia with words. Add the talent of caricature to the art. Sprinkle in the sharp wit of satire and irony. Voila! Youra's creations are described by The Sunday Times of London as “potentially life-enhancing.” ”wonderful work – fun, witty, and very unique” by Reince Priebus. Washington's governor calls the artist ”a pioneer in the Global Village.” Marketing Magazine praises Youra as “a trail blazer.” The Seattle Times introduces the cartoonist with the headline “Youra is a public relations whiz.” Emmet Watson, Seattle columnist, credits Youra as "a computer whiz." Mitt Romney comments that Youra is “entertaining” and his cartoons are described by Rob McKenna, Washington's attorney general as “satiric and sometimes acerbic."

Washington Cartoonist Launches Daily Cartoons About AI
[New syndication service delivers daily cartoons displaying a cartoonist’s perspective on artificial intelligence
and human creativity]
WASHINGTON STATE — Oct. 2026 — Washington State publisher, author and cartoonist Dan Youra has launched a daily syndication service for subscribers in media serving artists and writers, whose income is threatened by AI companies, to receive Youra Cartoons automatically displayed on their websites and social media.
The service focuses on one of the most consequential changes confronting publishing, music, art and other creative industries: the rapidly evolving challenges to the livelihood of human creators from the threat of artificial intelligence companies.
Media companies, associations, and other publishers can subscribe to the syndicate and deliver Youra’s cartoons directly to their own audiences. New daily content is delivered through the Youra syndication system and automatically appears on subscribers’ websites, social media and digital devices without the publisher having to manually replace each day's material.
"The cartoons are not created “by AI.” The cartoons are “about AI." Youra said. They are about what happens to the human creator when powerful AI companies enter the creative markets of art, film, and music."
Youra is a lifelong author, computer expert, and cartoonist. He is the publisher and author of The CopyRider – Champion of the Constitution. The book promotes the primacy of the Constitution as the source of the individual’s Right to receive the financial rewards of his or her creative contributions to society.
Youra challenges the training practices of AI companies through his interpretation of the Constitution's “Copyright Clause,” arguing that copyright's protection of authors and inventors is expressly identified as a “Right.” in the Constitution’s in Article 1, Section 8, clause 8.
He notes that the clause’s primary impact is intended to benefit society. The text specifically states that its purpose is to “promote the progress of Science and the Useful Arts.” The incentives to create and earn from individual’s human “sweat and tears,” is recognized by The Founding Fathers as the means to driver American technology.
Youra intends his for subscribers to have what appears to be their own professional cartoonist. He says “The daily cartoons are intended to give publishers daily content that is easily accessible and easy to understand for their readers whose livelihoods are increasingly being threatened by AI.
